Izletište Polovanec
About us
In the late 1990s, Stjepan Polovanec started it all, and the story of the Izletište was continued by his son Miroslav. Because family is central to everything we do, the entire Polovanec family contributes to the estate, vineyard, garden, and greenhouse – including Slavica Polovanec and the wives of both Stjepan and Miroslav.
The younger generation plays an active role too, bringing youthful energy and a modern touch to complete the full experience.
In 2024, we expanded our story by adding the accommodation unit 5 Sunca where you can enjoy and become part of our family’s everyday life.
Nature
Gentle hills, greenery, excellent home cooking and close proximity to Zagreb – these are our strengths, and your reason to visit. Prigorje is a village within the city – a village that offers the peace and nature that the city lacks.
Our work
Our home-grown ingredients and respectful labour are transformed into delicious products that best represent us. Visit us and try our homemade corn bread – and experience the flavours and aromas of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers.
Vineyards
The hard work in our vineyards is poured into your glass as premium wine. We currently cultivate 2.5 hectares of vineyards with 14 grape varieties.
For us, for you
Besides our beautiful outdoor setting, Prigorje hills and vineyards, we are proud of our own vegetable production both in greenhouses and open fields. The produce is incorporated into the dishes on your plate.
